Marjorie Taylor Greene Becomes Dog the Bounty Hunter, Sets Out to Capture Laura Loomer Before MAGA Eats Itself Alive

WASHINGTON — Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has apparently entered the next phase of her political evolution: Dog the Bounty Hunter with an X account.

The hair is getting there.

The sunglasses are presumably in the mail.

All she needs now is a tactical vest, six necklaces and somebody off-camera yelling:

“BETH, SHE POSTED AGAIN.”

Greene unloaded on Laura Loomer this weekend after Loomer aimed an ugly, racially charged attack at Florida Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon. Greene said she wasn’t supporting Nixon — important disclaimer before anyone at Mar-a-Lago faints onto a chaise lounge — but argued Loomer’s rhetoric had crossed a line and was actively hurting Republicans.

And for once, the Republican civil war managed to produce a sentence stranger than anything The Canton Cat could invent:

Marjorie Taylor Greene is now telling MAGA to tone it down.

We checked twice.

Yes.

That Marjorie Taylor Greene.

MTG Has Become the Neighborhood HOA President of MAGA

Greene wrote that Loomer’s rhetoric should not be tolerated and accused Trump and the Republican Party of allowing her continued influence.

This is roughly equivalent to Ozzy Osbourne knocking on your door at 11 p.m. and asking if you could keep the music down.

MTG spent years turning congressional hearings into WWE audition tapes.

Now she’s standing in the wreckage holding a clipboard:

“Guys, this behavior is getting a little inappropriate.”

Ma’am.

You helped install the flaming trampoline.

Still, she’s right about the underlying point.

Loomer’s comments about Nixon weren’t policy criticism. Loomer used crude racial stereotypes, language about “Ebonics,” and imagery involving barking and a leash. Greene called the rhetoric hateful and racist. Loomer has separately defended similar rhetoric as what she calls “pattern recognition.”

There are approximately 47,000 ways to attack Angie Nixon from the right without sounding like somebody got kicked out of a 1973 bowling league.

Try policy.

It still exists.

Republicans Have Been Gifted Angie Nixon and Somehow Found a Way to Discuss Laura Loomer Instead

This is the truly magnificent part.

Nixon is running against Republican Sen. Ashley Moody after winning Florida’s Democratic Senate primary. Her politics give Republicans plenty to attack: Medicare for All, universal childcare, a $25 minimum wage and a decidedly progressive economic agenda.

That’s called campaign material.

You take it.

You put it in an advertisement.

You say:

“Would you like Florida governed this way?”

Done.

Maybe add ominous music if you’re feeling fancy.

Instead, Loomer apparently looked at an open field stretching toward the political end zone and decided:

What if I tackled my own team?

Now nobody is talking about Nixon’s platform.

They’re talking about Loomer.

And Greene.

And whether Trump should denounce Loomer.

An absolutely flawless Republican communications strategy.

The cat awards it four flaming dumpsters out of five.

Enter Dog the Bounty Hunter Greene

Greene’s post read like somebody had just handed her a fugitive warrant.

She denounced Loomer repeatedly, accused her of poisoning the Republican brand, and demanded that Trump and the GOP reject her behavior.

You could practically hear the television narration:

Tonight on DOG THE POLITICAL BOUNTY HUNTER:

The fugitive is believed to be armed with three phones, fourteen screenshots and enough unresolved grudges to power Tallahassee.

MTG kicks open the door.

“LAURA! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS OFF THE POST BUTTON!”

Loomer immediately publishes 63 tweets accusing Greene of working for Iran, Ukraine, George Soros, Milo Yiannopoulos and possibly Cracker Barrel.

Commercial break.

Unfortunately, Loomer and Greene Already Have Enough Lore for Seven Seasons

These two haven’t exactly been exchanging Christmas cards.

Loomer has spent years feuding with Greene and recently escalated matters again after British provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was detained and deported over immigration violations. Loomer took credit for reporting him and then demanded an investigation into Greene over her past connection to him. Yiannopoulos previously worked as an unpaid intern for Greene.

So this isn’t a political disagreement anymore.

It’s Real Housewives of MAGA County.

Previously on Days of Our Conservative Lives:

Laura hates Marjorie.

Marjorie hates Laura.

Milo hates somebody.

Laura reports Milo.

ICE takes Milo.

Laura blames Marjorie.

Marjorie denounces Laura.

Trump is somewhere wondering why nobody is talking about Trump.

The only thing missing is Andy Cohen hosting the reunion.

“This Isn’t MAGA Anymore,” Says Woman Who Was Extremely MAGA

Greene wrote that this was Trump’s “new MAGA” and said she wanted nothing to do with it.

That line deserves to be preserved in amber.

Because if Marjorie Taylor Greene is looking around the MAGA bar at closing time and saying:

“Gentlemen, I believe this establishment has become unruly,”

we have reached an extraordinary moment in American politics.

This is like Guy Fieri announcing the nachos have too much cheese.

Like Ric Flair asking everyone to lower their voice.

Like a stray cat telling the raccoons they need better table manners.

Something has shifted.

The Cat Must Begrudgingly Admit MTG Has a Point

This causes us physical discomfort.

We may require veterinary attention.

But Greene is correct about one thing: Republicans don’t need Loomer’s racial garbage to beat progressive Democrats.

In fact, it makes their job harder.

Ashley Moody does not need a surrogate turning a Florida Senate race into a referendum on whether Laura Loomer can survive 24 consecutive hours without starting an intramural Republican blood feud.

Republicans can attack Nixon on taxes.

Spending.

Immigration.

Crime.

Healthcare.

Socialism.

Pick one.

Pick six.

There is an entire Costco pallet of ideological disagreement available.

You don’t need racial insults.

That’s not courage.

That’s political malpractice wearing a flamethrower.

And Yet, Nobody Will Stop Posting

This feud will continue because all participants have acquired the same terminal political disease:

Must Post.

Previous generations of politicians had aides.

Advisers.

Press secretaries.

People whose job was to quietly say:

“Congresswoman, perhaps sleep on this.”

Modern politicians have smartphones and 5G.

Civilization never stood a chance.

MTG can demand restraint.

Loomer can escalate.

Trump can ignore it.

Consultants can panic.

Ashley Moody can desperately attempt to return the conversation to the actual Senate race.

But X thirsts for content.

And content must be fed.

The Canton Cat’s Official Republican Strategy

It’s very complicated, so get a pen.

Step 1: Attack Democrats on their policies.

Step 2: Don’t use racist insults.

Step 3: Stop turning every Republican disagreement into the Battle of Gettysburg.

Step 4: If Marjorie Taylor Greene shows up looking like Dog the Bounty Hunter, somebody please give her wraparound sunglasses.

That’s it.

That’s the strategy.

We are available for $400,000 consulting retainers.

Payment accepted in tuna.

Final Verdict From Behind the Dumpster

Marjorie Taylor Greene becoming the voice of restraint was not on our 2026 bingo card.

But here we are.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Greene has saddled up, tightened the tactical vest and entered the MAGA wilderness searching for Laura Loomer.

Whether she brings her back alive remains unclear.

Whether Loomer posts 37 accusations before breakfast seems considerably more certain.

Meanwhile, Angie Nixon is probably sitting somewhere watching Republicans spend an entire weekend fighting each other instead of attacking her record.

Which is why the ultimate winner of the great MAGA cage match may be the Democrat they’re supposedly trying to defeat.

Outstanding work, everyone.

The bounty is one functioning Republican message discipline.

Last seen sometime around 2016.
